HOW TO MAKE MONEY ON CLICKBANK
This is MY personal story of how I discovered using Clickbank and started making money with it. I didn't pay anything for ads or shell out any money to make this Clickbank money. It was simple, but I did have to work for it. I'd say putting in about 4 hours a week for 5 weeks (37 days). The good part is now, I don't have to put in all that time anymore. Those hours were just the "build time" at the bottom of the money pyramid that I was building. What the crap am I talking about?
Ha ha ha! I'll tell you...in due time, good people. But first, the back story (everyone's back story, probably)...
I quit my job in the rat-race corporate world as a big-time trucking recruiter making about $108,000/year to make my fortune on the internet (I don't just make Clickbank money, but it's nice and it's growing). All my big ticket items were paid off (house and truck) and I had a lot of savings to test my theory that I could make it without big corporate telling me what I was going to make each year.
I started this blog (DavidStilesBlog.com) filling it with stories and articles that amused me or I thought people could use to better their life, (like make more money/make money online/lose weight and various topics). See my article: HOW TO START A BLOG.
Then I realized through traffic counting programs like Google Adsense and free state counters like STATCOUNTER.COM, which articles were bringing in the hits (traffic count). (I can't tell you EXACTLY which ones, you have to decide for yourself with what type of blog/site you have.) If you have a cooking site, it might be "Famous Chocolate Cake Recipices" or other types of blogs will have different top articles. Anyway, I saw what were my top articles and went to Clickbank and got some links to some of their products, which are ALL virtual products, no physical products. They have stuff like how to _____ and make money with _____. Health, weightloss, make money etc.
So what I did is match some of their product links with what my top articles were talking about and the money started trickling in. I don't have to really do anything more to make money with these top articles, as long as those programs that I'm linked to are still active on Clickbank (you have to check periodically. Sometimes they stop advertising through Clickbank and you can find them elsewhere.)
You can keep pinning pins on Pinterest several times a day or week, whatever you have time for. Also, if you have a good Facebook page, Twitter or other pages with followers, you can push some free ads that you make through. It will only increase your sales.
Now, I'm not saying you'll get rich, but just a couple articles that get traffic can make you a great passive income without quitting your main job. Just something you do 4 hours a week or so. Just to let you know, I (or you) won't get all of that money paid to you. There are refunds done, it could be about $80 sometimes or even $160 of that. I think some people signup for these programs just to rip it off (get the information) and then get their money back within 1 hour to 3 days. You know they haven't even tried the program, they just wanted the info and get their money back. You can't do anything about that. It's also about 90 after you see it in your weekly snapshot that you will actually be paid on that amount because Clickbank has a 60 money back policy, so you have to wait 60 days for the person who bought it to decide to get their money back or not. Keep hope! It's still like free money to you! You didn't create something or dig a ditch and have any "sweat equity" in it, take what money they give you and be happy (Don't worry, be happy - by Bobby McFerrin).
Here's a snapshot of what Clickbank is showing for me in the last 37 days ($428.07). It's not a million, but it is the easiest extra money I've ever made! (And it's going to grow as I add more articles that match some of what Clickbank offers, PLUS what I make off of Google Adsense and other ads on my pages). It took about 6 months of using Clickbank to start making the below money and my blog is about 12 months old. It seemed at first that no one was going to click on anything that I offered. Use more than 1 thing off of Clickbank, I recommend at least 5 in different categories and see which ones hit results. I'd say after 3 months and you have some hitting and not others, concentrate on the hitters and leave the losers alone. Make more articles on the winners categories and see if you can't increase your profits. If you have no hits on any of your offerings, you either have too little traffic or you've completely missed the mark on what the public wants. By good traffic, I mean 3,000 people and up on your site everyday. If you're not getting that, you need to work on more articles and SEO.

To sum up what you need to do in order to get this Clickbank money rolling:
START A BLOG HOW TO START A BLOG.
ADD STAT COUNTING CODES TO YOUR SITE PAGES - like statcounter.com (free - I use it and never give them a dime or upgrade).
PICK OUT THE TOP CLICKED ARTICLES - Use your stat counters to pick out the top-clicked articles on your site and keep them in mind for the next step.
ADD CLICKBANK PRODUCTS TO MATCH TOP CLICKED ARTICLES - write the articles first. Don't try to "write it backwards". In other words, don't find a Clickbank product then write the article...write multiple articles about a big array of subjects, then find the Clickbank product that matches (or mostly matches) what the top visited article is about or related product
MAKE FREE ADVERTISEMENTS ON SOCIAL NETWORKS: PINTEREST, FACEBOOK, TWITTER ETC. - I don't have ANY "big followings" on any social networks. I have like 6 Facebook followers and 52 Twitter and 3,100 Pinterest, so I obviously don't make money because I've built up a strong social following. I'm just NOT that social and I don't interact with anyone, I'm pretty quiet that way (although I'm super friendly if you interact with me, I just won't initiate it).
CASH CLICKBANK CHECKS - at this time, they still send paper checks. I don't remember if you can get Paypal or direct deposit, but I don't. I get paid once a month on the 9th is when they print out and mail the checks, so about the 14th when I actually get it.
