HOW TO MAKE MONEY WITH EBATES
How to make money with Ebates? Can you make money using Ebates? The answers are easy. Many people sign up at EBATES.com and shop through them to earn cash back through their favorite online retailers, such as: Walmart, Amazon, Ebay, JC Penney, Macy's, Kohls, Old Navy and the list goes on and on. But, did you know you can make thousands of dollars referring friends, family, aquaintances and strangers off of the internet? It can be a cool, passive little income on the side. Especially if you have a good following on any of the social networks or a very large family that knows you and wants to help you. Ebates is not a "club" or "affiliate marketing" or a "pyramid scheme". You're not trying to gather a "down line" to work for you. You are sharing with people, basically a cashback site that helps them. They don't have to get 10 friends who have to get 10 friends and so on, but they will want to share with others since it's such a great deal that you don't even have to think about...just shop online like you normally would and get coupons and cashback.
Ebates also gives you free coupon codes and shows you which retailers have DOUBLE CASH BACK! Really, what could be better? You're shopping online anyway, might as well save a little to a lot of YOUR hard earned cash, right?
DOES EBATES CHARGE ME TO SHOP WITH THEM? - No, Ebates is always free to sign up and free to use. It's also free to refer other people with your Ebates link or adding them by their email address. Ebates is paid by the retailers for getting you to use the over 1,800 online stores/retailers instead of shopping somewhere else. You are actually ON the real retailers site when you're shopping, it's just that they are tracking your purchase and rebating some of your money back that you spend to your Ebates account. Simple and free!
HOW DO I MAKE MONEY? - First of all, use Ebates personally so that you can build a story of how it's worked for you - getting cash back AND as a referral source of income. (I didn't put my story here because this is an article of how to make money using Ebates). It's easy to earn the $25 referral/bonus (it's actually $5 referral plus $20 bonus - not sure why they don't just say $25 because that's what it always is as long as the person buys $25 worth of stuff and Ebates gives them $10 toward that amount). All you have to do is sign up with EBATES.com, which only takes a minute, get your referrer links and put them in your social posts or get their email address, type it in on their website after you've signed in and Ebates will send them an email invitation with your Ebates code attached to it and you'll get the credit ($25). Ebates pays you quarterly, up to 4 checks a year if you have earnings in all 4 quarters that qualify. Here's what Ebates says in their rules, " A "qualified referral" is a new member of Ebates referred by you that signs up at Ebates.com during the referral period (which is every 3 months) starting January 1st and that complies with the rules set forth as follows: If a qualified referral makes purchases totaling $25 or more that earn cash back within one year following signing up, Ebates will pay you a $5 "Base Bonus" for each such qualified referral and you will be eligible for an additional one-time "Tier Bonus" for the referral period based on the total number of such qualified referrals you generate and the Tier Bonus table then in effect."
So in other words, you can't just sign up people who never intended to actually shop through Ebates. They must actually buy at least $25 worth of products through 1 or more of the 1,800+ stores that Ebates uses, which in 2015, 78% of the people shopped online for Christmas gifts. Who doesn't shop online anymore?
Be sure to fill out your address info in your account and to put in the 6 verification numbers they will email you, then you'll be all set to make money. You'll see a link on the left-hand side that says, "Add $25 to your Account" with a little money bag beside it. This is where you click and then either add someones email address or get your personal link to put in a post, website or blog or email.
HOW DO I GET PAID? - EBATES.com gives you actual cash, too. Not bullcrap "points", "gift cards" or "contest entries". You can have it put into your Paypal account as well. So it's actual money you can spend or pay your rent with. When I joined Ebates, they sent me a "Welcome" email good for $10 off of my first purchase of $25 or more. Pretty sweet!
I DON'T HAVE MANY FRIENDS OR FAMILY, HOW CAN I ADVERTISE EBATES FOR FREE AND EARN REFERRALS? - That's the $1,000,000 question and something you'll have to work on. Below I've added some ideas for places you can advertise your link or banner to Ebates for free:
FACEBOOK: Make a Facebook fanpage just for your Ebates and give it updates about how you're doing with cash back as you've shopped and advice on how your referrals can do it too.
PINTEREST: Pinterest is free to pin your ads on. Make it in the form of an article (such as mine above - but don't copy mine!). Make 4 or 5 different great looking pins (See: HOW TO USE PICMONKEY TO MAKE GREAT PINTEREST PICTURE PINS) to draw attention to your article that you make on a free blog (blogger.com) or paid for blog (Start a blog for cheap with: BLUEHOST HOSTING SITE). If you're already signed up with Ebates, BlueHost will offer you $10 cash back just to start with them!
YOUTUBE: Make a quick video about how much you've got in cash back using Ebates and leave a link below your video to your article or your direct Ebates link to their website.
TWITTER: Start tweeting about how much you just saved when you bought something on Ebates or give a montly report on the amount.
After you've signed up with EBATES.com, you can also install a free extension on your Google Chrome browser that will automatically know when you opened one of their 1,800+ shopping sites and will offer you to get cash back now by clicking on their little box that appears in the top right. It's pretty cool and easy. Also you can do it from your smart phone, but you have to sign up before you get the app.
