#3 Change Your Sidebar To Get More Signups
What does your sidebar look like?
Do you overload it random widgets, badges, links, and categories?
If you do, your sidebar may be working AGAINST you, meaning you're losing out on email subscribers you deserve.
(The less options you give people, the more likely they're going to take action because they won't be overwhelmed).
But there's something more going on here.
So, while they may not part with their email at first, they may browse other articles and decide, I'm interested in getting updates from this site after all and signup. That's also why quality content, and lots of it is important.
You have to give them a reason to signup. Even offer a free ebook maybe.
Here are three questions to ask yourself. Each one will help you make your sidebar work for you.
Question 1: Is your signup form on the TOP of your sidebar?
If not, move it there. Some have seen a 26% increase in signups when they moved their form to the top.
Question 2: Do you have social proof in your sidebar?
You don't need large subscriber numbers. You could simply say articles are "popular" and that should be good enough. Note: If you have large subscriber numbers (greater than 10,000 or 50,000), you should promote it somewhere very visible on your site, like the top of the sidebar.
Also, if you've ever been featured in a widely recognized magazine or newspaper, or anything like that. You may want to mention that too. That's great for credibility building.
Question 3: Do you have a lot of separate sections on your sidebar?
Make as few as you can get away with. Here are some examples:

If someone reads your content completely, from the start of your article to the end. It's safe to assume that they love your content, right?
However, one little known fact about these people is: When people finish reading articles, they look for something to do next.
Most people show related posts and ads after their articles, and that's great. These people will check out your ads and click to other articles.
However, if you got someone to read an entire article, they obviously dig you and your writing style. Since they're in such a positive mindset, that's the PERFECT time to ask for an email.
So, what you should do is simple: Include an email or subscriber signup form at the bottom of all of your articles.
You could promote other articles, but it's best for people to give their email because that means you can keep them as a loyal reader for the long haul. Some people put a popup form at the end of their content as an email signup form. It's more aggressive, but you know your readers better than I do. If it doesn't seem to work, change it to some other form of email gathering.

#1) How to Turn Your "About" Page Into A Lead Generation Machine
I always read people's "About" page. However, the reality is, most people create about pages that LOSE them valuable email subscribers, and there's a simple fix for it.
Ask people for emails. Ask them more than once. No joke. Sprinkle these requests throughout your about page and you'll be astounded at how fast that page builds your golden, sought-after, email list (the sound of harps is heard).
More specifically, here's the exact About Page template that you should follow:

Let staff know about the purpose of the page and , as long as it is relevant, they should be encouraged to contribute to it freely (which you preview before the "send" button is pushed to make sure it meets your standards).

Make customers associate a particular product with your company, like bakery in small part of Los Angeles = (your bakery name). Lets customers develop a relationship and a sense of closeness with you and the staff By getting to know you and the staff, customers feel more inclined to buy products from the people they know rather than those they don't.
Share what's going on
Staff can share the development of products, which customers don't get to see when they purchase them from the store or online. This gives customers a sense of participation in the company. By showing the customers the development stage and the background of new products, customers feel involved so are more likely to support them. Throw up new pictures weekly of how you make the new product, what goes into a couple of steps to the finish.
Don't take up a lot of time, just a couple pics with a caption of what you're doing in each pic.
So the ultimate moral of this story is, people buy from people they know and trust. It's all about friendliness and openness of sharing that reels in the people.

Why do new bloggers fail? Why do most businesses fail?
The answers aren't always simple or black-and-white, but here are 5 of the reasons and since you know, you can avoid:
Quitter! Haven't you heard that quitters never win? How can you make money online when you've quit making your blog after 3 months? Do you also write books and when it doesn't make the New York Best Sellers List you quit writing? Countdown until profit - There is no exact date anyone can say that you will start earning money with your blog or even enough money to quit your day job. It's not an exact science. You should start in your spare time and be prepared to plug away every day. Just as a for-instance, I would say 8 months until you build a big enough following to start seeing money come in, unless you happen to "go viral", but chances are that are very slim.
Annoying ads - Filling your blog with an ad in every spare inch is a turn-off. When you're first building an audience, keep it to zero or 1 ad that doesn't flash and is small.
Writers Block - Okay, blockhead, you're stuck! What topic do I do next? What picture do I use? Stop being an idiot! You know the internet is so huge, get out there and look around. I find content for my blog doing what I do everyday anyway: look at my emails, look at my favorite sites, peruse Pinterest. I get ideas all over. Sometimes I get many at once and I keep a pen and paper by my computer and jot them down, 1., 2., 3.
Commitment - Commitment issues? You know who you are! Blog today, blog tomorrow, blog incessantly. You MUST be consistent! You can't be lazy and post only when you feel like it. Make it a job like any other. Wouldn't you be fired from your "normal job" if you only showed up when you wanted to? Yepper! So when you're the boss of yourself, you have to make a high effort or you fail at the task (and in a way, fire yourself).
7 TIPS: HOW TO USE LINKEDIN FOR BUSINESS
So you have a Linked in account (whoop-de-do so do 23 million others) and you're not quite sure what to do with it (Like that Christmas present your got from Aunt Jenny last year).
1) JOIN TARGETED GROUPS - Joining groups like this helps you to learn AND share what you know, forming deeper bonds with like-minded people.
2) CREATE TARGETED GROUPS - Not only join a targeted group, LEAD ONE! This can give you credibility and influence over others in your industry if they are always looking to you for answers.
3) OPTIMIZE YOUR LINKEDIN PROFILE - Consistently update your profile picture. Linkedin bots will see you as "active" and will help rank your profile over one that hasn't been touched in a year.
4) SEND PERSONAL INVITATIONS - Invites are your first form of communication, so make a good impression with a personal invite, not a canned one.
5) GET ENDORSEMENTS - Call or email someone you've helped before and gently remind them of it and ask for a quick written recommendation or a quick click of the endorsement button.
6) FILL IN YOUR WORK EXPERIENCE COMPLETELY - Every place you ever worked plus any educational places you've attended, even if you didn't finish/graduate. These can "spider web" with people who knew you there and may help you in the future.
7) TELL PEOPLE WHO YOU ARE - Make a headline grabbing first impression without bragging. It's a fine line, so have a second set of eyes look at it before you "Donald Trump" yourself. Keep the ego in check.
